Artists from Milverton and Fitzhead will feature in this year’s 10 Parishes Festival which returns in September, running from Saturday 9th until Sunday 17th.
Artists’ open studios comprise the core of this biennial event. Milverton’s Penny Price will open her studio in Fore Street, showing and demonstrating her skills in contemporary designer one-off jewellery pieces.
A collective of six artists will share an exhibition at The Old School. Judy Willoughby, Nick Bickford, Kate Drew, Simon Healy, Susie Needham and Linda Wicks comprise a wide range of disciplines including calligraphy, ceramics, painting, photography, printmaking and textiles.
The Milverton Sketch Group will show a selection of their work, generated since their formation during the lockdown of 2020.
Mike Lusmore, Karen Patterson and Nigel Stone will combine their photographic expertise at Extons Barn, where Karen will also give a yoga session on Sunday 10th.
Performances are also an integral part of the Festival with music, comedy, talks and tours throughout the nine-day period.
The Festival Guide is now available at many venues.
