We are very sad to be saying goodbye to our Clerk who is stepping down after 15 years. For all those years, Jill Loader has been our reliable and hard-working Clerk. She has been a real asset to Fitzhead, not only to us, the PC, but working quietly for all you parishioners as well. She has carried all the sometimes onerous duties required from a Clerk in a very professional and efficient manner.
So, a big THANK YOU to Jill. We all wish you well, with hopefully more time for you to enjoy your rounds of Golf and, of course, to walk your new puppy Bramble.
At the same time, we now welcome our new Clerk, Andrea Johnson. Andrea has much previous experience in local Council matters and is taking on Jill’s role. We look forward to working with Andrea over the coming years, especially now that there are imminent major changes coming through the new unitary body of One Somerset.
